Lady Indians Open Wrestling Season with Competitive Effort at Illiana Christian Tri-Meet with Munster The Lake Central Lady Indians kicked off their wrestling season Tuesday night at Illiana Christian High School, competing in a tri-meet against both Illiana Christian and Munster. The young LC squad showed strong individual performances throughout the evening despite falling in both team matchups — 42-30 to Illiana and 72-12 to Munster. Several Lady Indians notched wins to start the season on a positive note. At 190 pounds, Jasmyn Spraggins led the way with a perfect 2-0 performance. Nasira Callaway (125 lbs), Victoria Bosia (120 lbs), Genevieve Rogers (115 lbs), Khloe Cortez (105 lbs), and Caitlin Bice (155 lbs) each finished the night 1-1, earning valuable early-season victories.
