Celebrating 21 Seniors Signing Their National Letter of Intent Today we proudly celebrate a special accomplishment — 21 of our senior student-athletes signing their National Letter of Intent to continue their athletic and academic careers at the collegiate level. This moment represents years of dedication, sacrifice, and unwavering commitment. These athletes have poured countless hours into early morning workouts, late-night practices, strength training sessions, film study, travel, and competition — all while balancing the demands of the classroom. Their success is defined by their resilience, leadership, and the way they have represented our school community with pride and integrity. Signing a National Letter of Intent is more than just putting pen to paper. It is the realization of a dream that began long before high school — a dream fueled by family support, coaches who believed in them, teammates who pushed them, and a drive to improve every single day. It is a testament to their character and their commitment to becoming the best versions of themselves both on and off the field, court, track, mat, or course. These 21 seniors leave behind a legacy of excellence. They have raised the standard in their respective programs, mentored younger teammates, and demonstrated what it truly means to be a student-athlete. Their impact will continue to be felt long after graduation. As they take the next step in their journeys, we are confident they will continue to compete with passion and carry forward the values they developed here. We are incredibly proud of each of them and excited to watch their continued success at the collegiate level. Congratulations to our 21 signees. Your hard work has paid off, your future is bright, and your story is just getting started. 2025-26 Signing Day Wednesday, February 11, 2026 at 6 PM in the Lake Central gymnasium PHOTO GALLERY: https://docs.google.com/presentation/d/1QxQymhWyJWwBXwZO15P0T-ItU-grF1HMvpA5RQs8xMk/edit?usp=sharing Football Matthew Kafka - Wabash College Cameron Reddick - Air Force Academy Charlie Jelcic- St. Xavier University Brian Rzyski- College of DuPage Logan Wroughton - College of Dupage Collin Meyers- University of St. Francis Fort Wayne (Not attending) Girls Basketball Emma Szany - Mount St. Joseph University Girls Soccer Olivia Connelly - Millikan University Baseball Victor Villegas - Roosevelt University Anthony Sanchez - Prairie State College Keegan O’Bryan - Indiana University - Kokomo Boys Track and Field Jacob White-Hutsler - Butler University Timothy O’Brien - Valparaiso University Aaron O’Neill - University of Wisconsin-Oshkosh Camryn Posey - Purdue University Northwest Benjamin Perschon - Indiana University Indianapolis (Track & Cross Country) Boys Cross Country Eli Tyrpin-Indiana University Northwest Owen Tyrpin-Indiana University Northwest Softball Alexa Iwema - Indiana University - Bloomington Tegan Tripp - Virginia Tech University MaKayla Van Vossen - DePaul University Sofia Beals - Roosevelt University
