DAC Girls' Basketball Press Release: Sophomore's Jill Beaderstadt and Emma Myszak Named All-Conference Sophomores Earn All-Conference Honors: Full Press Release Attached Lake Central High School is celebrating a standout achievement as sophomores Jill Beaderstadt and Emma Myszak were both named to the All-Duneland Athletic Conference team. Beaderstadt and Myszak were two of just 11 student-athletes selected from a deep pool of nominees across the conference, highlighting the impact both made throughout the season. As sophomores, the duo played a key role in helping Lake Central High School earn a fourth-place team finish in the conference standings. Their contributions helped set the tone for a successful campaign and point toward an exciting future for the program. Congratulations to Jill Beaderstadt and Emma Myszak on this well-earned honor. Lake Central looks forward to watching both continue to grow and excel in the seasons ahead. Gymnastics Rolls on Senior Night Results attached The Indians celebrated four seniors in their final home dual meet on Tuesday: Gabriella Arroyo, Emily Bishop, Summer Bandyk, and Gabrielle Robbins. The Indians faced off against local non-conference opponent Hobart and were victorious, earning an impressive 105.800 points. Senior Robbins turned in an impressive performance winning the All-Around with a 35.950. She also earned first place finishes in the vault exercise, uneven bars, and balance beam. Robbins finished in 2nd on the floor exercise, just behind teammate Kailynn Paat. Patt finished in 2nd on the bars and 3rd on the beam. Sophia Rodriguez was second in the All-Around competition: She also had 2nd place finishes in the vault and beam, and she finished 3rd on bars. Seniors Bishop and Arroyo each turned in 3rd place finishes on the evening. Arroyo finished 3rd on vault and Bishop was 3rd on the floor. LC will head to the IHSAA Crown Point Sectional Saturday, where the top 3 teams will advance to the IHSAA Regional.
