INDIAN GYMNASTS STATE BOUND The Lake Central gymnasts earned their 6th state finals appearance in 8 years after an impressive showing at the IHSAA Portage Regional on Saturday. The Indians scored a season best 107.525 which earned them a 3rd place overall finish in a loaded field. LC will travel to Ball State this weekend to compete for a State Championship. The opening ceremonies are scheduled for 10 AM (CST) and competition will begin at 10:30 AM. The rotation will be released later this week. Saturday's performances were highlighted by Gabrielle Robbins 2nd place finish on the uneven bars; Gabriella Arroyo's 4th place balance beam performance; Kailynn Paat's 4th place floor exercise routine; Arroyo's 6th place floor exercise routine; and Robbins 5th place All-Around performance.
