Jacob White-Hutlser, Ben Perschon, and Lucca Neves Win Individual Sectional Titles and Pace the Indians

The Lake Central boys' track and field team competed in the IHSAA Sectional hosted by Crown Point on Thursday. The Indians had several athletes advance. Jacob White-Hutsler won the 200M in a time of 21.65. Ben Perschon won the 1600M in a time of 4:30.28 besting Lucca Neves (LC) who finished 2nd. Neves won the 3200M run in a time of 9:41.20; Perschon finished 2nd in the 3200M. The Indians finished 3rd as a team: 10 points behind Crown Point and 23 points behind Merrillville.
