This was their second consecutive Sectional win. Twelve additional teams joined Lake Central at Palmira Golf and Country Club yesterday. Lake Central finished 16 strokes above the next best team from Crown Point. Cole Sullivan was low medalist on the day firing a 1-under par 71. Cooper Kroncke finished 2nd overall with his even par score of 72. Logan Carroll finished just out of the top 5 in the 62 golfer field with a 78. Dru Barkauskas rounded out LC's scoring with a 79. Yianni Boufis also posted an 81 for the Indians. LC now heads to the Regional Championship at Sandy Pines Golf Club on Thursday. The Indians first tee time is at 8:50 and they're paired with the Sectional Champs of South Bend St. Joe and Logansport. The top 3 teams from the Regional advance to the IHSAA State Championships.
