IHSAA Quarterfinals Match 2: Meredith Conklin (10) | KeShauna Lankford (10) Silver Creek (17-1; 4-0) def. Lyla Hurey (10) | Katelyn Pepkowski (9) Lake Central (9-4; 8-1) 4-6, 7-6 (7-3), 6-3 The doubles duo of Lyla Hurey and Katie Pepkowski's great run came to an end at Park Tudor HS in the IHSAA quarterfinals on Friday. The pair won the first set 6-4. They led in the second but the duo from Silver Creek mounted a comeback and won the 10 point tie breaker 7-3, before winning 6-3 in the decisive third set. Hurey and Pepkowski had a fantastic season and the pair will return next year to try to take it a step further.
