It was a good night for the Lady Indians: The flag football team, volleyball team, and girls' soccer team all earned victories. **Flag Football Knocks Off Illiana on the Road Lake Central 42 Illiana Christian 6 The Lady Indians rolled to a 42–6 victory over Illiana Christian, improving to 7–1. It was a great team effort. Individual Highlights: *Parker Reddick — 3 passing TDs, 40 rushing yards, receiving TD, 2 INTs and a PICK-SIX *Emma Myszak — 3 TDs, 107 receiving yards, 32 rushing yards and a 2-point conversion *Lola Kollintzas — TD reception * Neila Ogden — 42 receiving yards and two 2-point conversions *Ana Koulianos — TD pass and 2-point conversion *Ava Dobricky — 48-yard TD pass and 2-point conversion *Miranda Bates — reception and a first down *Miranda Gutierrez — interception Roxann Martinez, Emma Myszak and Neila Ogden each recorded 4 flag pulls, with Soleil Snyder, Peyton Martin, Kyrie Pollack, Chelsea Burke, Olivia Rodriguez and Naiomi Dilosa all contributing defensively. LC will square off against Chesterton next. **Volleyball Defeats Valpo to Begin Round 2 of DAC Play It was another great night for the Indians. The LC volleyball team earned a big win over DAC rival Valparaiso. The Indians won in consecutive set. The JV and Freshman lost in a tough 3 set matches. The Indians were led by Kailey Skurka with 17 kills 10 digs; Alina Williams with 11 kills; Ana Petkovic with 8 kills; Arielle Carter- Reed with 6 kills; Mariah Dattulo with 12 digs; Megan Bailey with 19 digs; Sloan Degnan with 24 assists and 4 aces; and Kenley Lalich with 17 assists 7 digs. The Tribe takes on the Trojans of Chesterton Tuesday at home. This is Dig Pink Night, come out to not only support out Tribe but to honor survivors and their families as well as remembering those who are no longer with us. **Girls' Soccer Finishes Off Senior Night with a 9-0 Victory Lake Central 9 LaPorte 0 Tuesday's thunderstorm disrupted senior night, but it certainly did not affect the Indians' performance. LC cruised to a 9-0 DAC victory over conference opponent LaPorte. The Indians had stellar performances all around. Liv Kleckner and Lily Baker combine for the shut out. Kiki Celeski scored the first goal within the first minute of play. Liana Navarro assisted the goal. Liana Navarro scored the next two goals with assists from McKinley Radtke and Mia Felus. Taylor True scored with an assist from Lexi Karabatsos. Violet Santay rounded out the first half scoring with her first varsity goal! The second half started with an Allison Yott goal from deep with an assist from Lexi Karabatsos. Emma Murphy scored the 6th with an assist from Payton Silvas. Izzy Burnett scored with an assist from Finley Golder. Ady Miller rounded out the scoring for the night. The Indians travel East to Concord tomorrow.
