The Lake Central girls' wrestlers went to Highland on Saturday for Highland's Inaugural Girls' Wrestling Invitational. The Indians has 3 individual champions: Kirsten Cortez took 1st at 100 lbs pinning her opponent at 1:41 in the finals; Reese Kasprzak took 1st at 110 lbs winning by major decision (13-0) in the finals; and Elly Janovski was dominant at 145 lbs pinning her finals opponent in :30. The girls travel to Clinton Prairie for an invitational this weekend.
