On Saturday, the girls' basketball team defeated DAC foe Merrillville in the sectional championship 51-39. This was LC's 3rd consecutive championship. They'll look to improve on last year's final four finish. The first bump in the road will be South Bend Washington on Saturday at LaPorte HS.
