Lake Central High School

The baseball team traveled to Murfreesboro, Tennessee for their spring trip. They had four games scheduled, with the first being canceled due to weather. All 3 box scores are attached. Game 2: St. Charles North (IL) 7 Lake Central 3 Griffin Tobias was sharp on the mound working 3 2/3 innings, allowing just 1 hit and striking out 8. Ryder Fernandez led the offense with a hit and an RBI. Game 3: Siegel (TN) 5 Lake Central 4 Luke O'Keefe was the highlight out of relief. He pitched 3 innings and struck out 5 allowing just one run. Game 4: Bartlett (IL) 3 Lake Central 2 Josh Flores earned his first career start and did not disappoint: Josh threw 4 innings of hitless baseball and struck out 8. Lake Central is back in action as they open the DAC slate at home against Merrillville on 4/2.
