V/JV Boys' Volleyball--(V)Lake Central 3 Crown Point 0 (JV)Lake Central 2 Crown Point 1 The Indians moved to 7-2 and remained near the top of the DAC with a 3-0 sweep of Crown Point. The Indians are 10-6 overall. The JV team remained unbeaten and beat the Bulldogs 2 sets to 1. V/JV Girls' Tennis--(V)Lake Central 3 Michigan City 2 (JV)Lake Central 3 Michigan City 2 The girls' served up a DAC win on the road at Michigan City. Tatiana Marjanovich (2 sets to 1) was victorious at #1 singles. At doubles, Tessa Murzyn and Lana Pesoli both freshman were victorious in straight sets. Also at doubles, Charlotte Barnard and Zosia Jablonski won in straight sets. Keira Gordon and Macy Morris were victorious in JV singles, and Isabelle Barnard/Adrijana Bastaic were victorious in doubles action. **photo of box score attached JV White Baseball--Lake Central 6 Illiana Christian 5 The JV squad moved to 5-3-1 overall with a 6-5 victory over our St. John neighbors. It took 10 innings and a comeback but the Indians walked it off in the bottom of the 10th. Lake Central mustered runs in the bottom of the 6th and 7th to send it to extras. Marc Passo (3 IP), Logan Barbush (3 IP), and Connor Friesema (1 IP) were excellent in relief combining for 7 scoreless innings of 1-hit baseball.
