Junior Varsity vs Valparaiso High School Win (2-0) Varsity vs Valparaiso High School Win (3-0) Freshman vs Valparaiso High School Loss (1-2) Lake Central's varsity volleyball team started the DAC opener in strong fashion sweeping the Vikings 3-0. 25-14, 25-22, and 25-17. The JV finished with a 2-0 sweep over Vikings and the freshman lost in 3 sets 1-2. Mika Salinas lead all hitter with 9 kills, 13 digs and 2 aces. Lexi Iwema chipped in with 8 kills. Lauren Smith and Izzy Steliga had 30 combined assists. Brooklyn Barth had 14 digs. All 3 levels travel to Chesterton tomorrow for more DAC volleyball.
