Girls' Soccer: LCJV 2 Munster 1 Goals by: Parker Reddick and Mia Karabatsos LCV 2 Munster 0 Olivia Pelot with 8 saves Goals: Fatima Cervantes and Phoebe Fogarty Assist by Bella Soria Frosh Football: Freshman Football won 24-20 vs Portage to move to 2-1 on the season and 1-1 in the DAC. Lake Central gained 200 yards rushing on the day. Matt Tuftedal led the rushing attack picking up 2 Touchdowns and 95 yards on the ground. Jonquil Sharpe added 66 yards rushing on 11 attempts. Kenyon also delivered a rushing touchdown. On defense the Indians were led by Jonquil Sharpe and Hunter Segal who both tallied 6 total tackles. Scout Polletta forced a sack fumble on the night as well. Lake Central faces Crown Point next week at home. Volleyball: The LC Volleyball Varsity won a nail biter against Portage. The Tribe came back from being behind the 1st 2 sets and rallied in the 3rd to sweep the Indians. The JV continued to roll as the swept 2-0 and the Freshman lost a tough one 1-2. Kailey Skurka finished the night with 12 kills and 2 aces. Kate Latzke with 4 kills Lexi Iwema with 6 kills, 2 aces and 7 digs Brooklyn Barth with 19 digs and 4 aces Lauren smith had 19 assists and 2 aces
