Girls' Golf: Lake Central 163 Chesterton 172 Michigan City 222 It’s official…. The LC Girls Golf team finished the regular season 14-0 in the DAC and 17-0 overall! Tonight they shot a 163 on Palmira’s front 9 (par 35) and clinched the outright DAC championship with wins over Chesterton (172) and Michigan City(222)!🏆🏅👏 The Indians varsity team was led by Macy Urbanski's person record of 35! Allie Huppenthal 37 Macy Urbanski 35-PR!!🏅 Victoria Schilling-49 Piper Urbanski-45 Peyton Schilling-46 Boys' Soccer: Lake Central 2 Munster 1 The boys' soccer team earned an excellent win against a formidable opponent, the Munster Mustangs, on the road. Munster came into the match ranked #13 in Indiana and #1 in Northwest Indiana. Jake Mizrachi scored the first goal for the Indians in the first half. Munster tied the match at 1-1 before Nikola Bastaic scored what would be the game winner. LC forward Xavier Rivera was also fantastic for the Indians. Lake Central will host Concord on Saturday. Girls' Volleyball: Lake Central 3 Munster 1 The LC Volleyball got a program wide sweep against Munster on the road last night. The varsity was closer than the result, but LC won 3-1. The JV and frosh both won in straight sets (2-0). The Indians take on LaPorte tonight at home in DAC action. Kailey Skurka led all hitters with 18 kills, 2 blocks, and 11 digs Mika Salinas had 16 kills, 2 aces, and 20 digs Lauren Smith had 36 assists, 20 digs and 2 blocks Kate Latzke had 6 kills and 3 blocks
