Lake Central High School

The boys' soccer team opened the 2024 postseason last night in the Munster Sectional. Lake Central took on the East Chicago Central Cardinals, and the Indians were victorious 9-0. The game ended in a mercy rule with 19' remaining. Lake Central will play the host Mustangs tomorrow at 5 PM for a chance to advance to the sectional championship on Saturday. Goal scorers for LC last night were plentiful and include: Jake Mizrachi, Xavier Rivera X2, George Karabatsos X2, Kaden Vickery X3, and Andres Ruiz-Avila. Assists for LC: Rivera, Nikola Bastaic X2, Tyler Onik, Evan Crowley, and Mizrachi.
