Lake Central High School

Zachary Greene had a monster season for Lake Central boys' basketball and was rewarded for his efforts by being named to the exclusive All Duneland Athletic Conference team. Greene led the Indians in points per game scoring over a 20 a clip in conference games. This included a 31 point effort against the Merrillville Pirates and a 25 point game against the Chesterton Trojans. Greene also had a 39 point outburst against South Bend Washington to kick-off the season and also poured in 36 against top ranked 21st Century Charter. Zach was not only a scorer for the team: He was second on the team in rebounds, averaging 5.4 per game. Zach also led Lake Central in assists and steals.
