Lake Central High School

This season the baseball and softball teams both earned Duneland Athletic Conference Championships. Baseball finished 13-1 in the conference and shared the championship with Crown Point. Softball finished 14-0 and earned the outright DAC Championship. Jake Figg, Drew Kostea, Ryder Fernandez, and Josh Flores were key cogs in LC's finish in the DAC, and they were rewarded by being named to the all conference team by the coaches. Ryder Fernandez- .326 avg, 15 R, 10 RBI, 10 SB Drew Kosteba- .400 avg, 14 R, 18 RBI, 7 EBH Jake Figg- .364 avg, 18 R, 16 SB Josh Flores- 6-0, 26 IP, 1.88 ERA, 52 K Lexi Iwema, Kate Renschen, Maddie Such, and Taylor Schafer were named all conference for softball. Lexi Iwema- .559 avg, 18 RBI, 7 EBH Kate Renschen- .649 avg, 21 runs, 7 EBH Maddie Such- 7-0, 0.82 ERA, 56 K, 34 IP Taylor Schafer (MVP)- .500, 22 RBI, 7 EBH
