The Indians down 0-1, responded with a 3-1 finish in this DAC Showdown. The Indians finished round 1 of the DAC alone in second place with a 6-1 record. The JV lost 0-2 and the freshman won 2-0. The Indians were led by Kailey Skurka’s 14 kills; Arielle Carter-Reed's 10 killls, 11 digs, and 5 aces; Eva Sanchez's 11 digs; Sloan Degnan's 23 assists, 6 digs, and 3 aces; and Kenley Lalich's 16 assists and 10 digs The Indians travel to Valparaiso tomorrow to start the second round of the DAC matches. **JV Soccer Beats LaPorte/V Soccer's Senior Night Match Postponed The junior varsity team stayed hot! After a 7 goal onslaught on Saturday, they found the back of the net 9 times to defeat conference opponent LaPorte last night. Goal Scorers: Quinn Shank, Ava Baker (2), Emma Szwajnos, Londyn Martinez (2), Aubrey Harrmann (2), and Marilynn Gutierrez. Assists: Ady Miller (2), Sophia Snyder, and Sophia Seaman. The varsity celebrated the five seniors before the match: Kristian Celeski, Liv Kleckner, Allison Kreuger, Liana Navarro, and Zoe Panzica.
