Boys' Tennis Cruises on Senior Night

Boys' Tennis vs Michigan City Lake Central 5 Michigan City 0 The Indians celebrated senior night and wrapped up second place in the DAC finishing the regular season slate at 6-1 in the conference. The Indians had to fight from behind in the 1st and 3rd set but couldn't get past the Trojans. The JV lost 0-2 and the freshman lost 1-2. The Indians host Crown Point on Thursday night in our Dig Pink Night. JV/V Girls' Soccer @ Chesterton V--LC 2 Chesterton 3 JV--LC 2 Chesterton 0 The Indians battled to stay near the top of the DAC but lost on the road to a tough Chesterton team. The Indians fell behind 1-0 but with 14:20 remaining in the match LC tied it up. With 8 minutes left, Chesterton scored again and just under 5 minutes later, the Indians scored to tie it. Chesterton scored in the final 2 minutes to secure the win. LC is now 9-2 overall and 3-2 in the DAC. The junior varsity was victorious on the road. Freshman Taylor True scored 2 goals in the winning effort.
